Pew Bow Alternatives ~ Church Decoration

Traditionally, flowergirls are meant to carry flower petals in a basket which they throw onto the carpet down the aisle the bride will walk. Because some churches object to fresh flower petals ruining the carpets, or even silk rose petals .  For this reason, flowergirl now carry flower baskets, hoops or pomanders which match the bride's bouquet or the overall wedding theme.  

I need an idea to decorate the pews besides the traditional pew bows. 

How about lit up candles placed in the aisle by each pew?  You'd have to find out whether or not your venue would allow that.  I'm loving this idea: It looks amazing & gorgeous if my church allow me to do so~~~  

One of the newest wedding trends is throwing rose petals in place of birdseed or blowing bubbles after a newly married couple leaves the ceremony or reception. A ribbon trimmed rose cones that are not only beautiful, but also provide a great way to give the petals to your guests.

what about pew cones with flowers which match with my wedding colours - I love these.

The pews were lined with white dendrobium orchid blooms and green and white lily grass bound with white satin ribbon.
